<P>I just installed a pair, yes the bolt needs to be longer than stock. I t=
ook the route of buying drill rod (very hard) and tapping threads on both e=
nds and then used lock nuts on both sides. </P>
<P>The reason for drill rod is it comes in 1/32 sizes and fit properly with=
out slop. Tapping the drill rod is a challenge due to its hardness.</P>
<P>In Seattle a place like Tocoma Screw carries metric allthread as an alte=
rnative. If you go this route I would recommend taking a file to the thread=
s that go thru the engine case and flattening them out then putting a bit o=
f grease on the allthread prior to installing.</P>
