Honestly, I wouldn't call it an upgrade so much as a lateral move. There
are tradeoffs.

Someone mentioned that the flywheel shouldn't wear quickly- it doesn't,
but after about 250,000 miles on my G5, I had to buy a new one. The
teeth in the outer ring of the flywheel (not the ring gear) were
severely notched.
