My ambo from rider's left to right: grn, blue, red, red, amber, red, grn.
Compare to the schematic in G. Barratt's post.
They are hen's teeth, but do show up on ebay occasionally. They were used by
other Italian bikes of the time too, so include in search if no one on list has
extra.

Hi guys,

While reassembling my LAPD Guzzi dash, one of the indicator lights grew legs and
walked off. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement red indicator? I
just need the front part, ie: lense and threaded bezel. Also, I am restoring
this bike from a basketcase, so I don't know which indicator light does what.
Can anyone explian what each light does and in which hole it should be mounted?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Don

surprised you didn't get answers from this list.

Shoot-fire, buddy, give us a chance! The list has been down all day and this is
the first time it's been back up....It's a slow, cold-blooded Topica list, not
some blazing hot chat line with instant answers....

I agree whole-heartedly with the "RIDE IT!" philosophy. I have a slight
advantage over Rob and Sam, since they are by all appearances wiry and slender,
while I operate on the same principle that allows a walrus or an orca to dive
under the Arctic ice pack and stay perfectly warm and comfy.

That being said (and no more), my Eldo is cold-natured, much more so than my FI
Centauro. On mornings in the mid-to-high 20's, sometimes I have to leave it on
"choke" (so to speak) for 10 miles or more before it will behave and stop
spitting back through the carbs on deceleration. When it gets colder, I'm afraid
it may never warm up, without somehow cutting off the airflow to the cylinders.
Some sort of leg-shield in front of the cylinders would seem to be in order.
