The steering pivot stem pin should be pressed out of the lower triple
clamp. Look at the stem before removal to note the relative position of
the slot for the fork lock. A light duty hydraulic press can handle it.

so, i'm trying to remove the bearing race for the lower steering tube,
and it's not letting go - any ideas?
lower steering tube is still attached to lower triple tree....
