Hi Pat,
My brother-in-law has one and said he'd sell it to me when he upgraded.
He hasn't yet though because the Mavica is still a viable camera. Any
particular model I should look for (too many to choose from on eBay)?
Cheers,

Hate to be a ludite, but try and find an older Sony Mavica Floppy Disk
camera. I have other digital cameras for travel and portraits, etc., but

this is the one I grab for a fast problem solver. Reasonably idiot
free. What I like best is its instant ability to focus down to about
1.5" from an object. I can fill the entire picture with the tip of a
spark plug. Great for sharing a mechanical problems or fixes with
others. Easy to just run down to the garage, then back to the computer
and jam the floppy in for a quick e-mail.
