Hey Ian,

If we could find the same latch for luggage, they could be coated with
clear palstic, like Varathane, and they would survive any weather.

Good thought to suggest music type latches. Do you think they would
hold up
to the elements?

Tough thing about finding latches is that you don't know what you
want till
either someone decides for you or you see the ones that you want :-)
