Tim,
Excellent, no need for you to go to HD for more particulars as the tool
number is just what I needed. I will go to HD soon and track this down as I
have 10 days off from work, plenty of time to get Guzzi stuff done. Thanks
again and I will report back to you. Merry Christmas, Bob

Bob....Depot,
I had forgotten about that post, and I just assumed that it was of no
interest to anyone, but it sure has worked well for me.
It was a plumbing spanner wrench, has two different spanner sizes on one
wrench at opposite ends. I am not sure of the brand I got from Home
but it was in the plumbing department, in a blue/yellow pack, and has theACE
number of BC T162 on the actual tool. I also saw the same tool later at
hardware. If you are interested, I will stop by and get all theparticulars
for you.my
I had been looking forever, and could not even find a wrench at MG Cycle,
Moto International, etc.....so I took this tool, noticed that it was very
close, and then just used my bench grinder to fit the purchase points to
square notch exhaust nuts, and then tapped the points together about 1/8of
an inch, and it fits very well. Not as easy to use as the correct tool, but
still serves its purpose.is
It will not probably be enough to loosen nuts that are really stuck, but
more than adequate for nuts in good condition. I have used it at leasthopefully
eight times now, and love the performance/price factor. I believe it was
less than eight bucks. I put on the new lock ring style nuts, so
that will be a bit of insurance down the road, but some people have no
trouble with the standard nuts.
If I can be of any help, please let me know.
Tim
