Patrick, I did not know that. I know the manual gives approximate number of turns for each of these screws I just don't get what to do when the engine doesn't idle correctly. I'm never sure which screw to fiddle with when correcting idle. Is tuning a carb like tuning a violin, you just have to have a 'feel' for it? bob

If you have square DelLorto carbs, the larger 'exposed' screw controls idle speed. The smaller 'recessed' screw controls idle mixture.
