Yep, red and white with some dark green. Dale's always working on somereservoir
new modification. He's put a good many trouble-free miles on the bike
since the conversion (no pun intended).

Subject: RE: Convert QuestionsHi Mike,
1. FWIW, my '76 Convert had over 40k hard miles on it when I bought it
and according to the original owner still had the light flywheel. My
buddy bought a '76 with 13k easy miles on it and his fractured around
the crank bolts at about 20k miles.
2. Dale Peterson (sp?) used the left toolbox to make the fluid
inlet/outleton his Eldovert (or is it Converado?). Welded all the holes and lid
shut, then added a filler (from the stock Convert tank) and
twofittings. If you're worried about capacity, you could add an inch or
theof metal between the lid and back of the toolbox. Dale wasn't
experiencing any problems last I spoke with him.
He's using an automotive drag-racing electric fuel pump to circulate
fluid, regulated to 30 psi if I remember correctly. Of course, he has
plenty of electrical capacity to run everything with the Geo Metro
alternator. And those LeMans IV forks and brakes are sure to make a
difference in the handing and braking...
