Now, Ian, that's the yuppiechopper boys, who don't really ride choppers
by strict standards, in my book. Building a true chopper will teach you
a whole lot more than a restoration. I'm no "expert" but have built a
chopper or two in my day and just finished two beezer chops for my sons
and we studied frame geometry, dealt with positive ground electrics and
tuned ancient Amal carbs, worse than square slide Dellortos!
Don't lump 'em all together now. If the Goose would actually make a
reasonably attractive chopper, I'd do it. It's a rare breed that looks
best fairly stock.
