If you multiply by 2 for an 8 cylinder I would think you would have to
divide by 2 for a 2 cylinder.

Subject: How many RPM's?

Hello all, in the absence of a working tach, I picked up one of those
dwell/volt/tach meters from Sears. On reading the meter, for a 4 cylinder
engine, it says multiply the 8 cylinder reading by 2. For 2 cylinders do I
multiply by 4?

Thanks,

-AJ
