The MG Cycle seat is very comfortable. I have ridden to the Virginia rally
on the stock seat and had some serious sore butt upon arrival. I have ridden
to the Virginia rally on the stocker modified by Sargent with supercell foam
and it was better but still was uncomfortable over the last 2 hours of
riding. Rode to Moto Guzzi Day in Angier, which is farther, on the MG Cycle
seat and was totally comfortable. Only complaint is that it is a bit softly
sprung. If you hit a dip where you compress the suspension, the seat will
bottom out. Not a big deal, but it is a bit softly sprung. I am only 185
lbs, so if you are a big guy be warned that it "could" be too soft for you.
It mounts to the stock mounting point at the tank, and the stock mounting
points for the front seat where it bolts up to the tabs on the frame.

I am interested in getting a solo seat for my 70 ambo. Does anyone have
any recommendations? I saw one on the MG Cycle site - a repro sprung
seat. Can this be mounted on a civilian ambo? I also saw that harper's
has seats listed on their websites. Unfortunately, I don't care for the
style with the many rows of stitching that run across the seat, as
pictured on their site. Thanks!
