Hunter, Please respond back with anything you find out, postive or
negative about any shops you contact.
Mark, (Moto Guzzi Classics) If you have a good plater that you deal in bulk
with, it might be profitable for you and helpful to us, to let the group
know when you are going to send batches out (sounds like at least monthly).
We ship you a box of parts, you get them chromed, make a few dollars on the
deal, ship us back the nice newly shiny parts and everybody could be happy.
Just a thought because I have looked into options here in the SF Bay Area
and new parts are as cheap as replating old ones.
I subscribe to the Bevel drive Ducati list and one of the members up in
Canada has an in with a quality shop that has good prices and folks send him
parts to have done. He does this just as a favor for old Ducati owners.

Thanks,
Rich

Hello to all.

Thanks to everyone for the great info on plating shops. It amazes me
how
wide a price range there is. I'll just have to work on which one to
try
after contacting a few.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond!
