So many mufflers, so many choices!

I went with a set of Valteks from Harpers, think they were around
$300/set. OEM's are outrageously priced. The Valteks fit right on
perfectly, sound slightly louder than stock but can be packed to quiet
them down or remove packing to make them louder. They even offer
different add ons to the end of them to give them different looks, OEM
look, fishtail look, etc.. (see harpermotoguzzi.com). I think there are
some OEM repros out there for a decent price, and MAC makes a few sets.
My local Guzzi shop likes Bub's, but I hear they don't fit right without
doing a little tinkering to get them to fit. I like the Valtek sound,
real mean and throaty at WOT, deep at idle. They are free flowing, so I
also installed K&N filters on each carb.

My 2 cents.

 Howdy all

Now that the con rod bolt has been sorted out, 'twas wondering what
folks had mounted on thier bike for mufflers. I'm going to need a pair
since the old ones rotted off.

Valtek? O.E.M? Sito? Dunstall? MT Stainless? Who else? TIA.
