Tim,

$115 is too much to pay. Just think of all the beer you
could buy! I have run the same $35 "Small Equipment" battery from
the local battery builder for about 5 years. The only thing you have
to watch out for is the fact that most small equipment and lawn tractor
batteries vent out the caps and not through a tube. This can cause
your leads to corrode and if your charging system is really strong, the
acid may eat into your battery bracket, plate and perhaps the inside of
your sidecovers. I'm sure you can find a sealed battery for $40-50.

The Guzzi battery is really bigger than it needs to be but comes in
handy when you have to jump start cars and will get you from Omaha to Chicago
if your charging system fails.

Cheers,
Any references for replacement batteries that will save me some money?
My
Eldo needs a battery, and I would like to avoid paying over $115.00
at the
dealer if possible. Is it possible?
