Aw c'mon, Just a joke(with a bit of truth wrapped in the words), we all know
that a good percentage of H-D owners these days trailer their bikes to where
their going and that the Motor Co. has tossed the true riders, customizers
to the side for the almighty buck. H-D is trying everything in their arsenal
to try to get the weekend warrior to try to "feel" like a "real" biker. It
is a joke. Even people who ride H-D joke about it.
Besides, I can't tell you how many times I've ridden by a Olive Garden
restaurant with, yes, friends of mine the ride H-D, and they ask if I need
any oil. Or rail me for how much I work on mine(mainly 'cause they can
relate). Or better yet the 'ol spaghetti in the tail pipe joke(F&^%king
funny!).
We give it back and forth, 'cause we all know we'll never be caught dead
hauling our bikes to Sturgis.
