Brian,

What type of MAC's do you have? They came in three styles. Original, slash
and fishtail. If/when you get the new pipes from Epco I might be interested
in the MAC's if you are looking to sell them.

By the way.... you are one lucky dude to be settling in Va. Beautiful there
and you are blessed by having Dave, Charlie and some great Guzzi folk in the
area. I wish my job was in Va instead of N.Ga.....but I'm not complaining.

Regards...Ian

 Charlie,
I am in Arlington, VA. I used to live in Herndon from 84 to 86, and
knew the area quite well. Now, though, the Northern VA area has grown so
much it feels more like NY, although it is pobably not so bad out past
Leesburg. I have not finished relocating from TX, and still have not
sold my house there. I have been riding around here on a BMW I brought,
and will move my Eldo in a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to
hooking up for some rides. This area is a lot more fun to ride in than
most in TX.
Have you heard anything recently from Epco about the slash-cut
mufflers they were going to make (I guess I should contact Tom Epping?
(?-can't remember the last name). I got some Mac mufflers because I
couldn't wait, but don't really like them. I know that you provided them
with a muffler as a pattern, and hope it was the original Lafranconi and
not a Mac.
I also took your advice from a few months ago and put Conti tires on
the Eldo, which work very well. The price was right, too (at Motorcycle
Accessory Warehouse, the pair cost less than $120).
