OK Tim, where can I get one of these fancy thingamabobs? Will I need a
credit card for this? Sounds expensive. Bob

Nows your opportunity to put in a drain valve, so you never have to
unscrew
anything. There some nice brass drain valves available, like petcocks, and
there is at least one that I use on my Cummins diesel, which is almost
flush, and has a drain piece with a hose on it that screws into the new
fitting to open the valve.

I recently changed the tranny oil on my Ambo. When replacing tranny
drain

plug screw it just kept turning. It seems it has been stripped for a
time.

I did notice that not much oil came out of the tranny when I drained
it,

only about half a quart but it was pretty clean. How can I fix this
stripped drain screw problem? Should I put in a time sert/thread repair
insert? Or should I retap the drain hole to a larger ize and put in an
oversized drain plug? Also, do you use Blue Locktite on these plugs?
Thanks. Bob Hawkes
