Hi Guys,
Iam new to riding Moto Guzzis.I have a 73 Eldo with unknown miles.Iam
the guy with the oil loss problem.
The bike has vibration in the foot pegs.I think it is more than
possibly some normal vibration.A friend said to check rear wheel play
with the bike on its centerstand and in gear.I rocked the wheel back and
forth and found about 4 inches of play :-(.I have never had any of the
driveline apart.The PO replaced the u-joints about 5 years ago with used
parts.It sounds like another expensive problem.
Iam having a major learning experience with my first Guzzi.I guess Iam
the unfortunate buyer who will have to do some major repairs.I love the
motorcycle and plan to get it fixed up so I can enjoy riding it.What
else in the driveline should I pay attention too for problems?
