Have you replaced the front tire recently? It's possible that the tire
didn't get completely seated when it was installed. Has happened to me. Look
around the rim on the tireand see if everything "looks" right. Hope this
helps

Subject: Front End Problem

I have another problem looking for a solution from the list. Since
getting my Eldo on the road, I have noticed that at slow speeds (below
about 30 mph), the front end of the bike moves up and down at roughly
the same frequency as the wheel rotation. It wasn't really bad, so I
left it alone, but today I took the front wheel off and took it to a
local motorcycle dealer to have the wheel balanced. When I picked it up,
I was told that the wheel was perfectly balanced and did not require
balancing.
The mechanics at the shop suggested that I might have problems in
the steering head bearings, or that the steering head was loose, but I
am looking for your opinion(s). When I rebuilt the bike, the steering
head bearings were not replaced since they looked pretty good, and I am
sure that there is no play in the steering head.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Brian
