Chris!
When I was building the '71 Ambo up for my wife Suzanne, we found
that the dual seat was a little too tall for her. I rummaged around in
my motorcycle junk box and found a Bates seat that was off of a chopped
shovelhead that I restored about 20 years ago. It's one of those small
solo seats with the two springs under it, you can see it at

and

I had to make up a flat bracket out of 1/4" aluminum to bolt to the
original seat mount, and bend up a bracket to mount to the top tube of
the frame, a little bit of a project, but it didn't cost me nuthin'. I
think it looks pretty cool.
Everybody comments on how small it is, but we did a 1000 mile trip
out to Sturbridge and back and her cute little butt was ok.

Has anyone used a non-motoguzzi solo seat on their loop? Dave Lubby's cool
700 has a HD Sportster seat with a modified mount. Any body have any other
suggestions for a solo seat?

Thanks,
Chris
