I'd call Mark @MG Classics for his price on
chroming/painting/pinstriping a tank. You might be surprised what you
can get done for a few hundred $$$ more!
I checked with my powdercoater about a tank earlier this year. He had a
slight chuckle and said no powdercoater he knew would put anything that
held gas in an oven at 400 degrees! Not worth the risk of any left
over fumes.
