water. Apply to the cases with a cheap, natural bristle brush. Drive the
moisture off with a heat gun. After the cases cool, rub the cases down

But the Sodium Silicate is new to me. Does this provide a finish for the bare aluminum? Do you have to let it dry before rinsing it off?
