I think they are actually called drive screws. You have to use a good
light to see them on the inside of the neck. They sometimes sit flush.
Just locate them on the outside with one finger and then look inside and
you will see them.

Just what kind of rivets are used to attach vin plate# I dont feel/see
any holes on the inside of my steering neck, so how would one get a
rivet bucking bar on the end of the rivet??

Ive got to take mine off in a day or so to get the frame coated.

thanks

#1. You can't type in the subject and then press enter. The email will

go away, right now.

#2. I'm thinking of making a new, revised, better than original VIN
rivit removal tool but need some info. My bike is assembled and can't
get access to the areas I need.

My questions are,
a. What is the largest size numbered drill bit that fits into a rivit
hole?
b. What is the smallest diameter inside the steering head? Maybe
someone could take a variety of 1/2" sockets, find the largest one that
slides in and then measure the socket OD.
