<DIV>I was also looking at the Hydro conversion, but my only fear would be breaking the small cable that goes from the slave cyl to the chutch arm. How would you get one of those ? Most of the cable brakes I have seen have been at the lever end though. I guess if you put on a rubber cable boot, it should be ok. <BR><BR><BR>-----Original Message----- <BR>From: bluezi-@att.net <BR>Sent: Jan 14, 2005 9:11 AM <BR>To: Loopfram-@topica.com <BR>Subject: RAM clutch question.... <BR><BR><ZZZHTML><ZZZ!-- -- STATIONERY WEBMAIL BEGIN><ZZZHEAD></ZZZHEAD><ZZZBODY><PRE>Your free subscription is supported by today's sponsor:

<DIV>With all the talk on here concerning clutches, I took some time to check out MG Cycle's page and see the RAM clutch and read what it has to offer. While looking at the site, I also saw the "Hydraulic Clutch Conversion" kit that they sell. My question is, has anyone on the list ever used this on a Loop? With the RAM clutch? Any suggestions? I will be replacing my clutch before the spring, and I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to do the hydraulic conversion too, after breaking a clutch cable about twenty miles from Vintage Days last summer and limping in clutchless......((thank goodness it was to a place that finding a new cable wasn't a problem!))</DIV>
