Been thinking of the misaligned fender all eve. Is it possible that I
need to add a shim to the right side wheel bearing to shift the wheel
towards center? What does everybody else's front fenders look like?
Are the centered or not?

On a Mark Etheridge scale, it's an 8.5-9.0 out of 10 on one, haven't
tried the other yet. Got the fender on now, is it normal that the rear
bottom of the fender is not perfectly centered? Inititially it looked
like a problem as the tire was just about touching on one side. Once I
tightened up the lower fender brace on that side, it straightened up and

is giving enough clearance to not be concerned. But from looking from
the front down on it, the left side has a space between the tire and
fender of 3/4", the right is 1/4". Could just be Luigi's handwork from
35 years ago.....

Keith,

Did you try DW's highly scientific way of centering the front wheel on
the axle?
