Hi Ted,
No, it doesn't have any one-way valve or anything else inside. If you
have the type with the hose barb on it, just attach a piece of hose
about 1' long to it and run it up under the seat and attach it to a
frame tube or such. The hose will serve to keep the lube in and any
foreign matter (except maybe a very small, very determined bug) out.
