Hi every one, my name is Charles and am a brand new owner of an Octo
1971 Moto Guzzi... When I bought it, the seller said it was an Eldo,
but I do not think so... Can someone please tell me exactly if it is
and Eldo or Ambo by VIN # ??? Here is the VIN 25944 and matches the
engine block... I know it has a civilian dash, 5 speed transmission and
reinforced rear axle transmission (like an Eldo) which came stock on the
Octo 71 models... I plan to first restore it so to drive it on the road,
second to restore and polish all parts, third go back to some original
parts, fourth revise and redo engine, transmission, rear axle drive,
fork, suspensions, brakes and fifth minor body work and repaint frame,
body and other small parts....
Thanks a lot for the answer, will probably have many more, great to have
