Hi all,
I finally got my 67 V700 registered yesterday, driving to the court =
house was the first long trip on the bike if you can call 10 miles round =
trip long.
Any way the bike seems to make a lot of lifter/rocker noise. How much =
is too much, I rechecked the valve lash today and it is at .1 mm in and =
.203 mm out
which is what the book calls for. The bike doesn't seem to have a whole =
lotta power either, although I was in traffic I did get up to 50 mph. =
Boy do you get a lotta looks riding a loop frame. I still have a ways =
to go to finish it but at least I am riding it, I want to do a longer =
trip tommorrow maybe if it isn't raining. One other thing I noticed is =
a slight whinning sound from the tranny is that normal, seemed louder at =
45 or 50.
