Egad...how you gonna get the goo off the bike when you want to replace the
speedo?

I favor clear silicon sealer because it peels up without harming finishes.

I use a cheap "Trek" bicycle speedo that I solved the magnet mounting
problem by using "Shoe Goo" to glue a smaller but thicker magnet to the
wheel rim. It seems any magnet will trigger the unit - you don't have
to use the one supplied.
