thanks
I'll look more closely next time I pull the starter
I did read in Guzziology about the clutch pushrod seals that can leak. I
have a leak on that one that I can see leaking outside. I'll have to pull
the rod and replace the seals both ends one of these days.

Ahhh , looks like its time to go out and ride.
Took the Wing today, since I needed to carry stuff. I went to another
plant to check something out. After dinner, I take the Ambo for a
leisurely cruise.
Life is good!
Have a good weekend
Pete

Pete, I have never seen a breather hole in the bottom of the clutch
housing but then again have never paid much attention as I have never
noticed oil drips from there. Of course my clutch pushrod seal leaks and I
know about that as it 'marks' it's spot in the garage. A 'dry' clutch should
not have any excess fluids to drain off. It wasn't a case of a lot of oil in
the clutch area that I was mentioning but more of a misting of oil that you
could see from the hole where the starter mounts and fell if you stuck your
finger in and around there.
TIA
Rich

HI Rich
Help me out with this. I never had the engine or trans apart yet.
The breather hole at the bottom of the clutch housing, shouldn't that drain
any excess fluid??
I have a little bit of fluid that weeps out of there almost every
ride. Once I overfilled the trans fluid and it really dripped out of the
breather hole for while.
Thanks
Pete
