Pull the carbs from the head first. When you remove the
top cap (careful...the springs are in there) the slide and
springs come out. The cable is attaches to the slide.
Very easy. If you want to remove the carbs from the
intakes, loosen the clamp there and twist the carb side to
side and slide it off the intake while the intake is still
mounted to the head.

I get good equal vacuum balance on both sides.
Compression is 160-170 both sides. Fuel milage under 40

the R side runs fine and plug is brown color. L side is
black and I get smoking after ideling a while. Lots of
carbon in the Left Talepipe too. I believe it may be
leaking enrichener seals.
I have a new set from Mark but haven't pulled carbs off
yet.
I dont want to screw them up by removing incorrectly.

I dont see how to un attach the 2 cables to each carb.
Seems like this would be the best way to start.

What do I remove first? Un bolt carb off the head or
remove the cables ?

Any tips are appreciated!!
Thanks
