John,
Your Indian is a thing of beauty, for sure!!! I too, thought about making some skirts for my Eldo when I was re-building it, but I got so caught up in just getting it road worthy that I gave the idea up. Fender skirts sure would look good on an Eldo, though. There's a Japanese motorcycle graveyard/used parts place near here that has a reproduction fiberglass Indian front fender complete with molded skirts that I considered trying to put on the Eldo, but my money was running short and I kinda gave up on the idea. Anyway, thanks for sharing the Indian pix with us! It's nice to see what others are up too in their endless quest for the love of motorcycling!

Well, if you look at the pics of the '47, you'll see that the PO bolted
some stainless steel skirts over the original fender. After mig welding
the holes shut and trying to smooth out the rest of the fender, I gave
up and bought a repop, sold the beat up one at a swap for half.
I still have the SS skirts, although I have to tell you that they add
another dimension to riding in a stiff breeze. It would be an neat
project, though.

Looks good John. I just love the fenders on the Indians. Always wanted to
graft some to a Loop.

Tom:
The newest project is a '47 Indian Chief, I''ve got it down to the
painted frame, front forks and shocks are rebuilt, I'm getting ready to
go .030 over on the cylinders, the guy who built it up before me built
it to 80" (stock was 76") and it required some machining of the pistons
to fit, it'll be kind of a hot rod.
I just finished putting some photos of it on one of my albums, you can
see them here

for the rest of the stable (and some Guzzi content) you could take a
