something to check also, which was a problem on my eldo, is be sure the O rings that go on the "enrichener" top plate where it fits into the carb body are there and in good shape.

weather finally turned nice been riding a little every day. boy do I feel better now.

Sure you have LOOSE play in the choke cables when turned off?

Did you pull the chokes from their bores, turn them over, and see what
the rubber sealing base looks like?
