If you like the look of the originals then you could have them rebuilt
expensively. Moe @ Cycle Garden offers this service:
Rear suspension - Rebuild shocks (strip & rebuild dampers, repaint) Rechrome
springs and cups, Polish lower adjuster (Lims). Assemble with one year
warranty.
$225.00 per pair Exchange
Or you could call Mark @ Moto Guzzi Classics and more than likely get a
better price or used ones,
Or either one could direct you to seals and oil info and you could DIY.
I like the look of the stockers myself

No, bodies are black with exposed chrome springs. I like the look of
