Not sure I understand that theory. Wouldn't the bike be sloped towards
the rear forcing lube to the rear wheel, not away from it? If my theory
is backards, this could prove Andy Hill's theory that the oil I am
getting dripping ever so slowly from the driveshaft boot is from the
rear drive migrating forward down the driveshaft. I wonder if
Progessive reworks their shocks to get them back to 13" height?

Keith,
You might want to check out Guzziology 13-4 thru 13-6 (possible causes
of rear drive lube migration). Basically, heavier rider + short shocks
= swingarm sloped the wrong way and possible rear drive starvation.
Then you'll end up wishing you hadn't sold those rear drive parts on
ebay!

I now know why the new Ambo seems to sit lower and why it is harder to
get on the center stand than the old one. The Progressive shocks on the

rear are 11.5 inches instead of stock 13 inches. My question is why
would someone change to shorter shocks? Better handling? Lower ride
height? Am I better off going back to stock height?
