A couple drops is normal. Anything more than a silver dollar sized mark and
I'd look at replacing the crankase vent valve. I just went ahead and placed
the ball check valve in the crankcase.

You may not want to take this very lightly. I use to have a few drips
come
out of the breather tube after long rides and discounted it as a normal
thing. Well yesterday I was on a freeway on ramp just starting to come up
to speed when the rear tire lost traction and slid to the left. These
things always seem to happen in slow motion but it seemed like the
throttle
was slow coming down and by the time it did I was in sever risk of high
siding if the tire had regained traction. I probably did the wrong thing
and decided to apply more power so I would low side and the bike went
down.
I escaped with only a small amount of road rash on my belt line where my
jacket road up but the bike has lots of issues now. After I crashed and
looked back you could see a huge streak of oil before the crash happened.
I'm not sure what went wrong but it appears to be coming from the small
left
hand tube. I really want to thank Frank who jump and gave up his time to
help me try and find a way to get the bike home and please if you have an
oil leak make sure there isn't an larger problem underneath. I'm not the
worlds best rider but even with a good solid 10 years of riding experience
this one happened a lot faster than I would have ever imagined

A few pictures,
Exxon would be proud
