One more thing. If our friend (I forgot his name already) pulls that big
center bolt should he replace the O-ring? I believe it is a #10 O-ring and
can be had at Home Depot. Bob

Sure. And since he has to pull the top center plug in order to complete
the
 torque cycle, he can insure its proper sealing while he's there. Also,
don't
 forget that re-torqueing a head automatically necessitates a valve adjust
on
 that side.
