Ian,
Haven't been able to work on the bike in the past few days as I have =
been close to death; real bad cold. Makes sense doesn't it; I haven't =
been sick all Winter and now that it warms up I get real sick. I am =
much better now though.
I am looking into the carb. manifold that was mentioned on the list - I =
am looking for one that has a "D" stamped on it as this indicates it is =
for the right side. Mark and another guy told me about this. Tried to =
call the local Guzzi Dealer today but they were too busy with other =
stuff to take my call and asked that I call back Tuesday. So, I'll =
wait. I do get the general idea on how to synchronize the carbs. Been =
reading about this as well but not much as it even hurts to read. More =

Just to let you know....some carbs are set up to run the carb mounted =
chokes and others are not. I can't remember what to look for but I will =
check it out. It has something to do with an o ring.

Did you get a chance to work on the bike? I went for a short ride =
today. I changed the oil on my 70 Pontiac and I was 2 quarts short. Now =
if that isn't an excuse to get on the bike to go get some I don't know =
what is :-) The ol'girl ran like a top. Funny but as I was riding along =
I felt like passing the exit and keep going. To where....didn't matter =
