Ian,
I have a set of slash cut Mac mufflers. They are loud when I open
the throttle fairly quickly, but are not so bad if you drive very
conservatively. I would sell them if and when Epco has their mufflers
available. I have a set of Dunstall replica mufflers on my T3 which are
also loud, but sound better to me. I got these about 5 years ago, and
they were quite cheap, less than $100 for the set, I think. I have a set
of Epco stainless mufflers on my R90S, which are fairly quiet, but sound
good to me. They are also better looking than the stock BMW mufflers as
they grind and polish the welds.
BTW, what will you be doing in N. Georgia?
