Well my eldo is back together and running pretty well. It looks pretty darn nice with the new paint job. Amazing how the tiny things take so much time.
I still need to troubleshoot the gen light--otherwise all the electrical stuff seems to work. I replaced the battery with the high priced (24.99) 350 cca Walmart special. It had a car battery that was too big and leaked a bit.
The old gas cap--a hinged model doesn't seem to fit the new tank.
Things I need: Are the decals for the side covers available? I used J Pruseks on the tank and fenders and they look great!
Anyone have a decent exhaust system? I repainted mine black and cooked it in the oven and it looks pretty good.
I also have a bunch of parts: front and rear fender, gastank, frame with title, a couple of toolboxes, swingarm with bearing, forks, and a couple of sidecovers that are a bit weird--they attach at the back rather than at the top. Everything is straight and undented, at least as best as I can recall--certainly no major damage. What's this stuff worth? Anyone her interested? Or should I just offer up the stuff seperately on Ebay?
