2012 December 11: Drop off polish and chrome parts (1.00 hours)
Updated:
I am having the following parts polished:
- 2 rims
- 2 wheel hubs
- 3 brake plates
- 1 generator belt cover
- 1 rear drive housing
- 2 valve covers
- 2 end caps for the Magneti Marelli generator
- 2 distributor pieces (base and top)
- 2 intake manifolds
- 4 engine mounts
- 3 brass fill plugs/dipstick
I am having the following parts chromed:
- 1 brake lever
- 1 shift lever
- 2 acorn nuts for the swing arm
- 4 pieces for the handlebar risers
- 4 bolts for the handlebar risers
- 2 fork seal carriers
- 1 ignition switch knurled nut
- 4 pieces that comprise the chromed bits of the gas cap
After dropping of the parts, I took off on my Ambassador for a 200 mile round-trip ride up to Prescott (through Wickenburg and Congress, up Yarnell Hill) for a Green Chili Burrito at a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant up there. I took I-17 back home. It was a very enjoyable ride.
